Elmot JSC was established in 1967 with its extensive production facilities based in the town of Veliko Tarnovo, the former capital of Bulgaria, in the European Union. Today, the company is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of electric motors and lifting equipment. Having quickly become a global market leader in the sector after its foundation, Elmot's annual production of asynchronous electric motors with conical rotor and integrated brakes quickly reached 140,000 units annually. Our bespoke motors are manufactured for a full range of specialist environments including explosion-proof, thermal, tropical and marine.
